This policy explains what personal data Kavis Network ("we", "us") collects when you use kavisnetwork.in, contact us, book a free call or audit, register for an event or workshop, pay online, apply for or join a course, and how we use and protect it. It also explains the cookies and similar technologies we use. We follow India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.
1. What we collect
Information you give us
- Enquiry forms (business, working professional, student): your name, WhatsApp number, email, what you're interested in, your company, role or college (optional), your preferred date and time for a free AI audit, and your message. When you submit, the same details also open in WhatsApp so you can send them to us there.
- Event and workshop registration: your name, email, WhatsApp number and college or company, the event you registered for, your registration ID and your payment status. If you pay by UPI directly, the UPI transaction ID (UTR) you give us.
- Course pages: when you register for a course or book a demo, the details asked on that form, such as your name, phone, email, profession, institution or company, city and the time slot you choose.
- Course applications through Google Forms: some courses, such as AI & AI Security for college students, take applications through a Google Form. Google stores what you enter there, and we can see it.
- Messages: anything you send us on WhatsApp or by email.
Payments
- Online payments are handled by Razorpay. You enter your card, UPI or net banking details on Razorpay's secure checkout, not on our website. We never see or store your card number, CVV, UPI PIN or bank password.
- From Razorpay we receive only what we need to confirm your seat: the payment ID, order ID, amount and whether the payment succeeded.
Information collected automatically
- Your IP address, used to protect our forms and payments from spam and abuse (for example, limiting how many requests one connection can send).
- Security logs: if someone tries to open restricted areas of our website, such as admin login pages, we log the attempt: the time, IP address and browser details. We never store passwords typed there.
- Website analytics through Microsoft Clarity: pages you visit, clicks, scrolling, device and browser type and approximate location. Clarity may record sessions to help us improve the site. What you type into our forms is masked and is not recorded.
Content from other services
- Google Fonts are loaded from Google's servers, which can see your IP address.
- YouTube videos on our pages load only when you click play, using YouTube's privacy-enhanced mode.
2. Cookies and similar technologies
We don't use advertising cookies, and we don't sell or share your data for advertising. This is what our website uses:
| Name / service | Type | Why | How long |
|---|---|---|---|
Microsoft Clarity (for example _clck, _clsk, CLID, MUID) | Analytics cookies (third party) | To understand how people use the site, so we can improve it | From one day up to about one year |
| Razorpay checkout | Payment cookies (third party) | Set only when you open the payment window, to process your payment securely and prevent fraud | Set by Razorpay |
| Event registration key (browser storage, not a cookie) | Strictly necessary | Remembers your registration on that device, so you can come back to the event page and see your payment status | Until you clear your browser data |
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. If you block Clarity, the website still works. If you block Razorpay's cookies, online payment may not work.
3. How we use your data
- To reply to your enquiry and to schedule and hold calls, demos and free AI audits.
- To register you for events and workshops, confirm your payment and seat, and email you the joining link and any changes, such as a new date.
- To send you what you asked for, such as course details or payment details.
- To run the courses you join: access, doubt-clearing sessions, reminders and support.
- To process refunds, and to keep payment records that tax and accounting law requires.
- To understand how people use the website so we can improve it, and to keep it secure.
We use your data because you gave it to us for these purposes. You can withdraw your consent at any time by writing to us; this does not affect anything we did before you withdrew it.
4. Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with services that help us run Kavis Network, and only as much as they need:
- our web hosting and email provider, where the website, forms and our mailbox run;
- Razorpay, to process online payments and refunds;
- Microsoft (Clarity analytics), Google (Fonts, Google Forms and Google Meet for calls and workshops) and Meta (WhatsApp, when you message us);
- authorities, if the law requires it.
Some of these services, such as Microsoft and Google, may store data on servers outside India. They have their own privacy policies.
5. How long we keep it
We keep your details for as long as we need them for the purposes above, for example while we are in conversation with you, while you are a student, after an event for follow-up and certificates, or as long as tax and accounting law requires for payments. After that, we delete or anonymise them. You can ask us to delete your data sooner, except where the law requires us to keep payment records.
6. Your rights
Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you can ask us to:
- tell you what personal data we hold about you and how we use it;
- correct or update it;
- delete it, when we no longer need it for the purpose you gave it for;
- stop sending you emails or messages;
- handle a complaint (grievance) about how we use your data.
Write to info@kavisnetwork.in and we'll respond as soon as we can. If you're not satisfied with our answer, you may contact the Data Protection Board of India.
7. How we protect it
The website uses HTTPS. Form submissions and event registrations are stored outside the public part of our server, and only the Kavis Network team can access them. Payment details are handled by Razorpay and never reach our server. No system is perfectly secure, but we take care to protect your data and will tell you if a breach affects you, as the law requires.
8. Children
Some of our programmes are for school students. If you are under 18, please ask a parent or guardian to fill in the form, register or pay for you, or contact us for you.
9. Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top of this page. Significant changes will also be shown on the website.
